A Systems Mentality Drives Next Generation MMIC Design
Presented by Anthony Sweeney, Director of Marketing and Product Management at Endwave Corporation.
This free 1-hour webinar will provide an overview of a new suite of systems-driven MMICs and their inspirations as they were developed by Endwave Corporation. Endwave’s unique position as both a MMIC integrator and MMIC designer has led to some novel design approaches and cost cutting measures that may aid subsystem and system designers in overcoming their latest microwave and millimeter-wave challenges.
This webcast provides an easy-to-understand Unified Theory of Oscillator Design to demystify oscillators so that you can begin designs with a thorough understanding of oscillator behavior rather than by copying designs. This educational lecture is based on the 3rd and latest book on Discrete Oscillator Design authored by the presenter, Randy Rhea.
The IEEE Great Lakes Technology Symposium is organized and sponsored by Chapter IV of IEEE Southeastern Michigan Section, which represents MTT, AP and ED Societies of IEEE. Topics will span the interests of all three sponsoring societies and related fields.
This workshop is designed for device process engineers (CMOS, SOI, BiCMOS, SiGe) who are interested in device modeling; ICs designers (RF/Analog/Mixed-Signal/SoC) and those starting in that area as well as device characterization, modeling and parameter extraction engineers. The content will be beneficial for anyone who needs to learn what is really behind the IC simulation in modern device models.
Presented by Dr. Robert Froelich, Senior Principal Engineer at Cobham, this free 1-hour Besser-Series webinar will cover: ideal passive elements including inductors, capacitors and resistors; also real elements including construction, modeling and parasitics, frequency response and application suggestions.
The European Microwave Week consists of four conferences: The European Microwave Conference (EuMC); The European Wireless Technology Conference (EuWiT); The European Radar Conference (EuRAD); The European Microwave Integrated Circuits Conference (EuMIC). Microwave devices, systems for telecommunications (both terrestrial and space borne), transportation, medical, radar and new fields of application are just some of the areas covered in the programme. In addition to the conferences, the Week showcases a variety of workshops and short courses as well as the European Microwave Exhibition which constitutes the largest trade show on RF and microwaves in Europe.
This premier live event features leading representatives from European defence agencies, market analysts and industry executives in a discussion on current initiatives, market trends and strategies impacting the European Defence/Security sector. This is a live event only, but it will be recorded for viewing at a later date.
2010 IEEE Bipolar/BiCMOS Circuits and Technology Meeting
A one day short course followed by two days of conference. Anyone interested in leading edge processes, devices, and circuits used in state of the art telecommunication systems and power control systems will not want to miss this conference. Bipolar and BiCMOS technologies, particularly SiGe HBT BiCMOS technologies, continue to play a key role in these systems. Papers covering the design, performance, fabrication, testing, modeling, and application of bipolar and BiCMOS integrated circuits, bipolar phenomena, and discrete bipolar devices will be presented.
2010 IEEE International Topical Meeting on Microwave Photonics
Microwave Photonics (MWP) is an inter-disciplinary field that studies the interactions between microwave and optical waves for generation, processing, control and distribution of microwave, millimeter-wave and THz signals in the optical domain. Microwave photonics technologies can find many applications such as in high-speed wireless communications networks, radar, sensors, and modern instrumentation. The goal of the 2010 International Topical Meeting on Microwave Photonics (MWP 2010) is to provide an exciting forum for researchers to exchange new findings and developments in the area of microwave photonics.
The COMSOL Conference 2010 Boston will be held on October 7-9, 2010. This event gathers engineers from a broad spectrum of industries to unveil state-of-the-art achievements in multiphysics simulation. The program includes user presentations, minicourses, exhibition, and more. The next COMSOL conference is in Paris, France, November 17-19, 2010.
AMTA, a non-profit professional organization, promotes advances in electromagnetic technologies applicable to antenna and RCS measurements.
